Benihana has always been my family’s go to for special occasion meals. Sadly, in the past few years the quality of the food had dropped considerably. My scallops were small and overcooked. My friend’s steak had inedible gristle bits. Very disappointing considering how much we were spending.
Do not waste your time or money!!!. Worst service ever. rude hostesses making fun of customers after they seat them. valets cussing in front of families.3 hour wait around even with a reservation.do not, i repeat, do not waste your time!!!

We have eaten at this benihana a number of times and tonights service was terrible. It started with the wine that we ordered being unavailable, the chef was boring and seemed inexperienced. He did none of the small tricks that one would expect. We had two small children with us and he did not even attempt to put on a show. The chef also say that the food that he brought our did not match the order but cooked it and served it anyway without apology or trying to fix the problem. I saw the order ticket and it clearly stated that one person should have had a sirloin and the chef prepared chicken for that person. Also, the chef was so worried about working fast that he forgot to put the chicken in the chicken fried rice and had to take back 3 bowls that he already served.The wait staff also was very unprofessional and tried to rush us out of the restaurant. The waiter came a couple of times to the table, but at the end he asked if we wanted to-go boxes even while others were still eating at the table. Not just one person eating but half of the people at the table. This was a birthday party celebration for a friend of ours and I did not make any mention of this while we were there out of courtesy for the birthday girl. If it had only been my family there I would have complained to the manager about the pitifully poor service and mediocre preparation of the food. I used to like going to Benihana when the chefs were actually asian and knew what they were doing. This place is going down in quality fast….. Very disappointed because it has such a nice location.
I’ve been going to this Benihana for 20 years. Always is really good most of the time very good. The last time I went there was about two months ago The gentleman who cooked meal did a terrible show The food was not cooked right. I called up after we left and talk to the manager and he did nothing about the situation. Won’t be going back to Benihana for a long time
Happy hour is great. This place is really only good for a large group of people. If you are a couple your at risk for getting sat with screaming children, and nobody likes that. The happy hour is good if your looking for a quick after work drink or snack.
