I ordered the chili and it came Luke warm. I sent it back to be re-heated. It came back at a proper temperature, but I wonder about a batch of chili sitting in the kitchen not hot enough to prevent problems. I feel OG has slipped in quality and service over the last few years.Made a return visit and it was NOT good. The cook, Rodney, is more concerned with socializing with the bar-flies than cooking. My medium-rare burger was well-done to the point it was re-done and was not charged. Inquire if Rodney is cooking before you place your order and adjust accordingly med-rare=raw!! Rare=on the hoof!! Beware!!!
A Change for the WORSE…. What a difference a year makes! Oceans Grill used to be one of our favorite hangouts…but the change in the vibe (and the service!) is like night and day. We stopped in on Saturday afternoon and here was our experience in a nutshell…1.The new bartender ignored us to take a LONG personal phone call. 2.She ignored customers who were literally waving their money at her to pay their bills while she continued to talk.3. She brought me the wrong drink refill.4.We asked for a simple order of crispy fries. She wrote up our order and pinned it up for the cook who didn’t even notice the transaction, so he didn’t start our fries for almost ten minutes! (we were not in a hurry so I just wanted to see how long it would take for either the bartender or the cook to notice.)5. We had asked for CRISPY fries, and when they finally arrived they were pale and limp. When I quietly asked him to refire them, he literally scowled at me and said nothing! He did re-fry them…and then I apologized to HIM for complaining!!This bar used to be PACKED every afternoon…but no more. And if our latest experience is any indication, I think I know why…
