Great Food, Great People. I’m a long time customer of this small, clean, and friendly restaurant. The food is delicious!! Love the Rabo (oxtail)!! Great food for a great price. They are very clean as well.
Keep your attitute at home!. This place is supposed to close at 10 pm (thursday). I stopped by today at 9:30 pm and they were already cleaning and removing some of the food. That is not nice. The woman behind the counter that was cleaning gave me a dirty look. I knew then that they didn’t wanted me to order anything, the employees just wanted to go home. I took a to go menu and left. Not planning to go back. There are many hispanic restaurants in the area and I know for a fact that they will receive my money and business better than that. They can keep this place!
Maracas Restaurant is located in a small locale shopping plaza. We started out with Sancocho (thick soup/stew consisting of meat and vegetables). The soup is accompanied by a small bowl of white rice. We also ordered Bistec Encebollado with Tostones. The food was delicious!!!! Clearly prepared by an expert. Dining at Maracas was enjoyable and price reasonably. I highly recommend the experience.
I don’t speak Spanish. I was nervous about ordering. I got a platter of steak and fried onions, sweet plantains & tostones. I loved it! Very filling and healthy. Glad I had an open mind!!!
Yummy. The best caribbean food in central Florida. Staff completely friendly and inviting. A true mom and pop, with a touch of class. Can’t really focus on any specific dishes, because they’re all very well put together. Right amount of taste and aromas. Must come and taste for yourself.
Not the same quality service it use to have last year! I ordered 2 pizza empanadas and I got 2 chicken. I went back to talk to a manger n she didn’t even understand Wut I was saying, I don’t think it’s right to be rude towards me if I’m tranna explain myself! I just wonder if they changed owner.
Very good. Top notch food, and great service. A little out of the way, but worth the trip. Caribbean food, better than what I have had in the islands.
