The service was good. The server was friendly and attentive. We ordered the two chicken breast ($1:00 up charge for breast ) with one side & a roll. The food took a bit to get because it’s cooked to order.when we got our chicken breast they were all raw in the center. So the server took the chicken back to cook them a bit more which dried out the chicken. The outer crust was over cooked, it just crumbled off the chicken. We kept our side of macaroni & potato salad to eat ahead while they recooked the chicken. They did not offer to throw in another salad or a different side. They didn’t offer to comp a drink to us for the inconvenience. The owner ( Larry) was walking around but never came To any table to see how anything was. He was to busy talking loud with other locals and not giving a crap of his other paying customers. The bottom line is that I’m never going back.
This is a hidden little gem outside of Jetty Beach Campground. The fried chicken is delicious and the sides tasty. Our server was very friendly and attentive. The chicken is made to order, so it does take a while. It is well worth the wait.
