August 2018Annie’s Restaurant, SE 47th St., Cape Coral, Fl.,Here is my 2 cents on my food and chatter. Our food. a plate size pancake with pecan, hard scramble eggs , crispy sliced bacon. Me:hotdog with kruat on rye bread & mustard. Deli sh coffee and OJ.The flapjack is always as big as a dinner plate cooked to perfection. My hotdog simple and correct. House made lentil soup flavorable and nice portionService outstanding and correct.Word of mouth for advertising …no commercials for this joint.Best to come in off season…In season you be standing in line for a while.Prices reasonable and food great.Parking hard in front …lots of room in the alley and back lot big.July 2017Annies, SE 47 St., Cape Coral, Fl..Here is my 2 cents on the food and some chit chat. The food. A cup of coffee & a Western omelet, ham, peppers, onions and cheese. With house fries and toast.( U get a choice of cheese)Only 8 bucks. This was a fabulous meal. Cheese inside and on top. No one else does this. Cooked to perfection.Service was quick and attentive. My cuppa joe got refilled 3 times without askingChatter. They are known for the big as a plate pancakes. ( no waffles 🙁 )In season this is packed. A small lot in front BUT a large area behind in the alley. This is old school eatery. If you have not been here…. WHY NOT? your loss.Annies, SE 47 st, Cape Coral, Fl., Here is my 2 cents on the food and some chit chat.Alright I must admit this is one of the best omelette yet.A 3 egg Denver Omelette with swiss cheese. I must admit my eyes were bigger than my stomach. It was big, fluffy and delicious. Lots of meat, onions, and pepper. Also reasonable priced. I had toast and home fries. Toast was good. Now the home fries are made differently by different cook. I was not thrilled about their style though I did finish them all.Chit chat. They are known for Big pancakes. So if you are a pancake fiend you must come here.Snowbird season it is very busy. Parking can be an issue. Wait times cane be an issue. Now is a good time to try them.Service can be iffy. You may get a sweet server or a gruff and crusty server. Ah the food makes up for it. Plus it can be entertaining. So give them a try.
