This Restaurant could be really good with a few changes.. Four of us ate at the restaurant last night after seeing an article in the paper and reading the reviews. I have to say, everyone at the table was disappointed. 1st and foremost the service was very slow. I’m not sure if they had a shortage but no one from the business stopped by to apologize or let us know that they were short handed. As a result, we waited a long time to get our drinks, our appetizers and meal. Also, the wait staff did not seem to be knowledgeable or well trained.2nd issue was the food…while all of us thought the food was very good, the portions are small. For example, I had the fried shrimp, which were suppose to be jumbo prawns. Instead they were between medium and large and I only got 6 Shrimp. With that I got a few green beans and a scoop of what they called risotto but was more like seasoned rice. My husband got the mixed seafood paella, it had 3 small clams, 3 small shrimp and 3 small scallops in a broth with a scoop of the risotto in the middle. He left hungry, even after paying extra for a side salad. I don’t expect to be stuffed after a meal, but I do expect to get more than an appetizer serving as a main course. 3rd issue is the noise. Although the place is small and nicely decorated, it is very noisy. They need to put some acoustic panels on the walls or between the booths to tone down the noise. I do hope that the restaurant will take my comments to heart because I think it could be a nice place to eat since the food was very good.
We’ll be back!. My husband and I are from the #1 commercial seaport in America, New Bedford, MA, so we’re accustomed to eating fresh affordable seafood. Last night, to our delight, the Blue Seafood Restaurant in Cape Coral FL served us two seafood meals that reminded us of home without the -20 degrees wind chill factor! I had the whole belly clams (at a bargain price) and my husband had the fish and chips – both fresh and delicious. If youre looking for a good seafood restaurant that doesn’t skimp on quality or quantity Blue Seafood is the place to go! We’ll be back for the all you can eat fish fry or maybe the grouper sandwich 🙂
Great Seafood in the Cape!. Completely enjoyed our experience here at Blue Seafood Restaurant! Had a awesome dinner with my family! Quality fresh ingredients! There wasn’t anything my family didn’t like and that’s a surprise! We will definitely be back again!
Blue Seafood Restaurant. Great seafood. My wife and i have been back several times and all items on the menu had a unique seafood taste we had not found in other restaurants in the Cape Coral Fl area or in Lee County. Their sweet corn seafood chowder was an original. I would recommend Blue Seafood for any true seafood lover and give it a top rating.
Love the Tropical Grouper!. Just tried here for the first time. Had driven by and noticed the sign, so glad we stopped in. Everyone was very friendly and the food was great. I had the tropical grouper which was amazing, it was served wIth risotto that was so rich and creamy you could have it as a meal. Also tried the house salad with the home made strawberry vinaigrette – you don’t want to miss that. My husband had the seafood picatta which he enjoyed as well. Did not venture into the dessert menu but look forward to going back and trying something.
