They make it pretty easy to feed your face.Enjoy!Bob Evans, Del Prado Blvd., Cape Coral., FL, Growling of a tummy and some chatter. Lets talk food. I must say I really enjoyed both entree. First Country fried steaks, mash taters, gravy , green beans and biscuits. The fried steak was good it was fried just right, Green beans cooked tender with bacon and bit of onions. Gravy was ok but it could have used a bit more black pepper.. Biscuits, hot flaky served with real butter and honey. Very filling.My take home for later. Pot Roast, mash taters gravy, carrots loads of onions.. The beef is so tender you only need a fork. Carrots plenty of and great. Loved the mash taters and gravy with onions BUTI would prefer if the taters were served on the side. Instead of everything right on top. I guess my quirkiness.Oh yes the dinner roll wear some of the best I have ever had. PeriodAhhh Josephine, I believe,my server outstanding job. She could not do enough for me.Chatter. I had to wait for a table,10 minutes or so. Most times I never do. The food. Chicken fried steak and mash potatoes/gravy. This is another basic midwestern meal. They do it so well. Simple hearty and so good. This is a comfort food. So far they follow the KISS method. K.eep I.t S.imple S.tupid. Meat has flavor cooked well with heavy gravy. Fills the belly and tantalize the taste buds. OH my the dinner rolls are to die for.Service was quick prices fair.
Service not so great. I’ve been to this location twice, 1st time was okay, just what you would expect. This was a weekday afternoon so not very busy. The second time was Saturday day late morning so a bit busier. Took over 10 min to take our order so she took our drink and food order at once. Drinks took forever to come food took even longer and not all of our food came. The waitress blamed it on the computer? The manger gave us some free cookies but I can’t say the cookies will make me go back.
Excellent Service. The only Bob Evans that I have gone to and liked. Not your typical Bob Evans. All of the wait staff was very hospitable. Also Bob Evans has a revamped menu with more options, and a better taste.
