September 2017Cactus,Hancock Bridge Parkway, Cape Coral, Fl. Here is my 2 cents on my meal and chit chat. I got the lunch special of 3 Sopes, 8.99.Heard of these, never had them before. But first you get hot chips with house made salsa. Unfortunately , they have dumbed it down for the wimpy taste buds here in Florida. Good flavor just not very mexican original spicy.Sopes are similar to a tostada. Except this tortilla is about 1/4 inch thick. Then they add you meat and etc on top..It tasted fine after I jazzed it up with hot sauce. I just did not like the soft texture of the base.A great staff. I tried the enchilada dish. It was the typical dish , tasty and so much better than a fast food joint. I got the spicy salsa ,plus the chips were fresh and warmed. Salsa was very good ,though not as hot as I like it. But they do have a more wimpy version for the locals.Service was outstanding. Prices were reasonable for the area.So if in need of a mexican fix a good place to try
