The meals I have eaten here were good. The food appears to be freshly prepared and served hot. I find the portions to be a bit small. The fried rice was average but tasty. Wait staff do an average job and did take care of us. Decor is ethnic chinese. Atmosphere is typically very quiet until more diners arrive. Overall the food is good and in my opinion, better than the other local chinese restaurants.

April 2019 Chens China Bistro, Pine Island rd., Cape Coral, Fl. Here is my 2 cents on the food.It was delivered via bitesquad. The food was hot to the touch when handed to me.I got the Singapore Mai Fun… Angel hair noodles with shrimp, beef, chicken, veggies and extra hot peppers as I ask.The dish was much better than I thought. It was filling and very good.My 2nd dish, beef chow fun. It arrived hot to the touch. BUT it was not as spicy as I needed..It tasted fine. Here is the BUT… Too much filler….lots of chopped celery, carrots…Plenty of onions…Not much other veggies. Good for local folks…Not good for discriminating taste buds of global experience.I would recommend it though.July 2017Chen’s China Bistro, Pine Island Rd., Cape Coral, Fl., Here is my 2 cents on the food and chatter. The food. A couple of egg rolls, 1.50 each, Kung Pao chicken, extra spicy, hot & sour soup. 9 bucksThe egg roll crisps and flavorful. Hot & sour soup, thick with tofu so very good. Kung Pao chicken… a bit disappointing ….Though I asked for extra hot it was not. I needed chili paste. The chicken was white meat. not my first choice, was very tender. Lots of peanuts. Plus way too much celery. Over all just ok this time.Chatter… This is one of the better chinese joints around ( Ginger Bistro is better)NOTE: they give you a card ,where after spending so much here ,you can get a free meal.Service was fine and attentive. Here is my 2 cents on the food. I order the kung pow beef. POW it was extra spicy the way I wanted and ask for. Plus hot oil on the side. They food was terriffic. Fresh and quality items. The hot & sour soup was good. A clear yet thick broth done to perfection. I was a happy trooper today.Chit Chat. This is one of the best chinese eatery in the Cape. The surrounding were beautiful. The service was excellent. The staff did a wonderful job.. A bit more in price but the quality and service makes up for it. They have a card spend basically $100.00 get a free meal. Which I can see doing easily. I was here at 1130 AM on monday. So for good food in a charming surroundings give them a try.

Disgusting. Ordered the cashew chicken. Not sure what kind of meat it was but the texture made me spit out the first bite. Total of 2 cashews, and all celery. The pork fried rice was missing the pork & flavorless. Chicken wings were all skin no meat. I threw out everything.
