I went there three times and the food is very salty.
Love it!!!. It might have been slow a year ago but now are under new ownership and there are new waitresses. Their $4.99 lunch specials are excellent as well as very reasonable. The $2.99 breakfast specials for 3 eggs, ham/bacon, Cuban toast & Cafe con Leche (hot milk with Cuban coffee) from 7 to 11 am. are very good.
Extremely Slow Service. Food was OK but service was so bad not sure if we will be back.
Terrible Service !. We were seated at a dirty table that had not been wiped down and given menus.Atfter waiting at least 20 minutes, nobody came over to clean the table or put down place settings;We got up and LEFT !!!!! …… If this is the way they treat patrons, the food is probably worse !

El Tropical is a local spanish resturant that we go to bi-monthly for the past two years their food is so fabulious, that we had them cater our wedding . The food is one of the top three most important. El Tropical help make our wedding one of the best weddings around town here in the cape. Dont miss out on one of the best resturants in cape coral, fl.
The food is rather good, but the wait (from the time we ordered our food) was horrible. The waiters & cooks seemed to walk in circles a lot & we thought if they spent less time walking around, the food might be prepared quicker. Tea was served from a bottle, not freshly brewed. Even with the long 30 minute wait to finally eat, we did enjoy our food. We will go back & take our chances that the long wait was a fluke. Oh, LOUD music on Sunday nite & it is hard to carry on a conversation.
