So disappointed with our most recent experience. I called 30 hours in advance for a reservation and was told they did not take reservations for less than 12 people… no problem, we had a party of 16. They took my info and confirmed I had a reservation for Friday at 7:15 PM. Our entire group arrived at 7:00 PM and wasnt sat until 8:00 PM. They sat us at two different tables, but it worked out because we just made the 2nd table a kids table. From the moment that we sat down, both of our waitresses said so sorry, the kitchen is SUPER backed up. Uh oh…The waitress took the kids orders immediately, which was AMAZING. The problem?… our appetizers came out 45 minutes later BEFORE the kids food. We had to ask if the kids could be given crackers or chips in the interim. 10 minutes later, kids food arrived. 9:45 PM, still no food. Every other table around us was served even though they were sat well after we were. One of our husbands found a manager to discuss our displeasure. The manager was immediately defensive and said well we dont even take reservations and we are doing the best that we can. His wife entered into the conversation and the manager then said its a really busy night and we ran out of food. We needed to wait for stuff to thaw out. She was so extremely rude. Another member of our group was upset that she was SO rude about the entire experience and had to raise his voice so she would stop interrupting. Several members of our group waited to pay for the kids food (it wasnt the waitresses fault and we didnt want it to effect her pay/tip). While we were in line waiting to pay, the owner and manager stood directly next to the waitress with arms crossed. One of the ladies in our group attempted to introduce herself to the owner: Hi, my name is _____. We wanted you to know that this wasnt our waitresses fault. We just wish that we had been proactively notified that there was an issue with our food so we could have made alternate selections. He immediately said well I dont even care if you pay, I wish youd just leave now.After that, I left… I couldnt handle it (I worked 4 years in the restaurant business and I have NEVER had such a horrible experience. Apparently, the owner later called our group TREE PEOPLE. WHAT?!?We had other friends who had eaten there earlier in the night who confirmed that they had atrocious service. We need to order more food, please be patient with us… We are doing our best, but the kitchen has tickets lined up for days. Absolutely unacceptable. I dont care who you, no one ever has the right to be treated the way we were tonight.
