October 2018Hart & Soul, Del Prado Blvd., S., Cape Coral, Fl., Here is my 2 cents on the food and chatter.This is one of my favorite places for breakfast. The staff is the best.I get a waffle, biscuit, eggs over easy and bacon. My biggest complaint is they are always warming up my cup of coffee. LOL.This is one of my shortest review. When a place does everything right on every visit…then you are just nit picking.I guess one thing they could do better…Make my waffle a bit more crispy.Ha Ha that’s me though.So if seeking a good lunch or breakfast give them a try.Oh yeah be advise there are 2 entrances. The big parking lot behind them and then the main entrance on Del Prado. Plus a table or two IFO. Waffle, eggs ,bacon. Waffle and eggs are cooked to my specification.Lots of butter and syrup on the side. Tasted just fine.BUT I find the bacon over cooked to the point of being burnt.I was there around 1010 AM so maybe I got there at the end of the rush.Over all good will be back. June 2017Hart & Soul Cafe, Del Prado Blvd., Cape Coral, Fl., Here is my 2 cents on the food, rant & rave and chatter.The Food. Tomato soup with basil & a Philly steak sandwich with mushrooms. The soup. was wunderbar… Smooth yet a bits of tomato with basil leaves swimming around. No need to season more. The Philly. A medium toasted roll, with excellent thinly slice mushrooms, onions , beef, and such cooked to perfection. With just the right amount of pepper jack cheese. Sandwich was just sloppy enough. Rave… they have just regular salt and peppers shakers …yeaaaaa!Rant… had parking due to the gym down the way.The service was great.. The good ,was great coffee locally roasted and eggs perfectly over easy.Ahh my waffle . It was was a bit under cooked. Not brown enough. The potatos and the bacon way overcooked. Bacon to the point of burnt . The taters same issue. I was a unhappy trooper.Tip: I got here at 1045 AM. No lunch is served until 1130 AM. I was disappointed.Service was fine place very clean.Parking is horrendous. Until 1100 AM… A gym is nearby I would definitely give it another try.
