Not good Mexican. Not clean sticky tables and food not great
Came for lunch on Margarita Mondays. 99 cents! Had Burrito with steak and Chili Con Carne sauce, absolutely yummy. My wife had shrimp Fajitas, also very good. Service was friendly and quick. Will come back for sure
Don’t bother. I read that there was not good Mexican food in Cape Coral and so far, that is true. Iguana Mia had a very limited menu and it wasn’t that good. Salsa was not spicy and they don’t serve sopapillas! Not worth the visit…back to Denver for some good Mexican food!
After reading the reviews, I decided to see for myself. I was pleasantly surprised. Was seated immediately, chips and salsa followed. The waiter then came to take our drink order and asked if we wanted qeso or guacamole. Drinks were great although the margarita mix was a bit sour. Food came out super fast and was excellent! Everything was cooked perfectly and hot! I would definitely recommend this Resturant.
Okay, you are not in Austin Texas. With that in mind this is a decent Mexican restaurant. Had lunch here with a group just the other day and the service was excellent, the food was piping hot and very tasty. I think this is a very good value for your money and considering where we are geographically, this is a good Mexican restaurant! our group was celebrating a birthday and we had great fun, be sure to ask for the Mexican sombrero and the free lunch on your birthday! I recommend this restaurant!
Not bad. I was reluctant to go considering the reviews. I actually liked the place. Great atmosphere, good service and amazing food if you get the special. Some of the extras like the salads are hurting – but overall it was pretty awesome. We ordered one entree to bring home and they included chips, dip and salsa. We’ll definitely be going back.
Slipping quality and consistancy. This used to be one of my top 5 restaurants in Cape Coral. I order the same thing every time I go. The last few times I have gone the quality and consistency have slipped. The chips were stale, the taco shells that used to be hand formed are now generic store bought. The refried beans has been as thin as a soup. It is a shame. They charge top dollar for Mexican food and I expect better quality. I will probably try them again in the future , however if the next visit is like the last few I will take them off of my top 5 restaurants in the cape for the money. 1.) Pappa Joe’s, 2.) Iquana Mia 3.) Polo Tropical, 4. Clubhouse Grille, 5.) Jason’s Deli
