Clean, classy and fabulous SEAFOOD. Service was attentive and our server knew a LOT about various fish dishes. Perfectly cooked and portions were great. We arrived on a busy Saturday night after boating all day. A wonderful atmosphere. We will be back

Wow. We stopped in for lunch and the menu is amazing. I wanted four or five different things from the menu. We went with an app to share and two salads. Delicious. Eat here.

One if not the best restaurants we’ve dined. The service is fun to be with and they are courteous and very prompt. Food is always scrumptious. Can’t wait to go back.

October 2017Lobster Lady Seafood Market & Bistro, Cape Coral Parkway, W., Cape Coral, Fl., Here is my 2 cents on the food and chatter. First props to the staff and cooks outstanding job.So here is a bit of chit chat. I have had this bookmarked to try stone crabs. Stone crabs have been lauded a big deal since I have moved here 6 years ago.So I come to a premier eatery to taste them.My food. I got the cheapest appetizer on the menu, 6 bucks. ( most appetizer were $10 or more) At six dollars I received beautiful presentation, 5 halves of medium size eggs, with slices of salmon and a very mild wasabi filling. It tasted very good, unfortunately I was disappointed in the mildness of the wasabi. Then my entree, bang bang shrimp and stone crabs. ( crabs can be had cold or hot. I took the advice of my server and got them chilled. )The shrimp were very fresh and tasted wonderfully. Though in my mind I had imagine a bit more of a kick. ( oh yeah it florida,)Now for my 5 years of anticipation stone crabs. They were very chilled, the chef had pre crack them somewhat. It was still very hard to crack them and very messy to consume.2 sauces for dipping. These were medium size claws $7.50 each. OBA OBA !!The verdict…. Not worth my money. A long time resident enlighten me that this was just a tourist propaganda issue. Though the staff did a wonderful job. Food was terrific. As a consumer I will just get lump crab meat at the grocery store. If you love the experience of cracking crab and chowing down. You must come here for a great meal. Here is my 2 cents on the food and a bit of chit chat. I was here on a rainy Tuesday for lunch. I have had this booked marked for the past 3 years. It is seafood so it is pricy. I started with a sweet tea.. I asked if it was house made. I was told it was. But to be honest it tasted like a commercial brand. I have tasted house made at 3 other eatery and know the difference. But it could be my taste buds. It was OK.I was offered a bit of fresh bread and butter. It was delightful. Not too many places give fresh bread or rolls with meals any more. Wonderful. They had gumbo on the list. Great I love a good gumbo. My last two gumbos were from a local southern eatery and out of a can. Eatery outstanding 5 stars. Can ehhhh. Well I was disappointed with the Lobster Lady gumbo. First it was not heated enough just above room temperature. Then way too salty for me. It had plenty of okra, shrimp, sausage etc. But to be honest I thought I was eating a slightly upgrade from out of the national brand can soup. Also there rice through out. It was not served on a bed of rice. Which was ok but it lack the proper flavor. My sides were outstanding. The spinach was sauteed excellently. I am as always adventurous . I got the Seaweed Salad. It was chilled and oh so good. .Too think a weed from the ocean could be so tasty. Who had the courage to try this. Well Done. They had my favorite fish. Trout. It was delightful too. Not overcooked just right. I had it almondineI enjoyed it. But maybe a bit too much sauce. Again though that’s just me. Over all a great entree. Thumbs up chef.My server Kathleen ( I believe) was outstanding She did an excellent job.Over a good experience..

Hidden gem! The strip mall setting should not fool you, this place has great food. The menu is enormous and everything we ordered had us moaning in pleasure. I wish I had pictures of our tall neck appetizer, entree crab cakes and sea bass fish tacos but they were devoured before I thought of pics! Call ahead this place is busy and keep on top of the hostesses they are not that efficient! PS. It’s also a fish market so you can buy and cook at home.

Jo mo. We were served clams that did not look fresh- waitress insisted they were good. after trying a couple we realized they how bad they really were. After complaining again our waitress apologized and told us the chef said they had gone bad. Needless to say we could not finish food and I did get ill from the bad clam. Be very cautious at the lobster lady because eating bad seafood is very dangerous.I will never go back- you can not trust the staff, the chef and the food.
