Amazing Cuban pastries!! Best in the area owners are very attentive and nice and extremely helpful. Picked up pastries, bread, and rice Moro and lechon or pork and the food was all delicious full of flavor and never expensive! Absolutely best bakery in the cape area!!
April 2019Luis Bar, Grill & Bakery, Here is my 2 cents on the food, It was delivered via bitesquad,I order a steak sandwich with a side of onion rings,This use to be just a bakery. Now it has expanded.The onion rings were large and crisped very good.My steak sandwich was tender, It arrived with my request of grilled onions, Plus lettuce and tomato.Over all a good meal… Around 11-13 bucks. New twist old favorite. I had seen this place for a while. I just now stop in. It is a Bakery/restaurant. . I was impress with the chocolate eclair. The classic . They also had a powdered sugar and caramel covered eclair. They looked yummy.The other classic was German Chocolate cake delessss! !!!! Another twist was with raspberry..Lookin gooooddd.Empandas!!! So I am guessing we got a cuban feel here. At a $1.00 each they were light fluffy and very good. (ground beef or chix).At 9 am on a Saturday all the tables were crowded. So I guess the word is getting out on this place.The people were friendly and helpful. They made you feel at home.Since they are near a major intersection ( Santa Barbara/Veterans)the y are a easy to find and stop by.March 2017Luis Bakery, Santa Barbara Blvd., Cape Coral, FL., Here my 2 cents on the food. This is a cuban bakery that also serves breakfast/lunch.The food. I went on the menu and order a cheese/bacon omelette. Little did I know they serve it as the cuban style. (see pic) Not the traditional french way. The ingredients are not folded into the egg. Well I hate it this way. It tasted fine it was hot and delivered quickly. Plus for potatoes you get french fries. And bread is cuban bread toasted of sorts with butter.Over all if you like this style this is a good place. But for me nope.AHHH the one saving item was a double espresso. This had to be the strongest coffee I have had in the area it was good.So if you like strong coffee, not very sweet pastries this is a good place.
