Unhappy Customer. The food is good and their bakery is great! However, the customer service is horrible, especially if you try to order over the phone. They do not speak English and make things very difficult. They work as if they were operating at least one decade ago! I have called at least five time before I wrote this; finally I became so frustrated that I decided to take the time to write this. In my opinion, a place can have great food; but if the service is poor to bad, it will not make it. They are lucky that there are not too many latin places in Cape Coral. Sooner than later that will change and their bad service will catch up to them!
Small place. The restaurant was small, didn’t find the group of people we came with. Come to find out, they were seated in a reserved room in the back! Hard to tell when I first walked in. Anyway my lunch was ok, had the chicken with black beans, the beans were very good. Ate the plaintains last as a little dessert, they tasted yummy! Most of the party at the table had the Cuban sandwich and said it was the best they ever had! The prices are reasonable, the service was okay. Most of the clientele are Latin. Even though most of my group is American, we still enjoy the Cuban food and the people! One last thing, the parking sucks! Very little spaces in front, (our first time here), we had to park on the south side of the restaurant. Do not park on the north side in front of the other businesses, your vehicle could get towed!
I joined a friend who eats here regularly, I was less than impressed. Prices are low and the food was just ok. Servers were lacking in personality and performance.
WOW cheap good. This is an outstanding jewel. The food ,the OJ (fresh squeezed), the coffee and service. I loved it. People were fantastic..Black bean as good as mine , empanada tasty, espresso strong but not overpowering. Not a fancy place just great down to earth…… Breakfast in -expensive and good sized portion.This is must try place. Even if you do not like Cuban cuisine.
TAKE A PHOTO OF YOUR CAR. A friend went for Breakfast and parked in the lot – assigned parking – only to find her car missing when she was done. It was towed!!! There is a towing company that pretty much keeps an eye on the cars, once you are inside, they immediately tow you away. $100 (they guy wanted cash so no trace) later and reports to the cops, she got her car back.
Very affordable & good for lunch…. Ate many lunches here, the Grouper sandwich is the best, (not on the menu), just ask for it, it’s delish!
Great food, great service. We have been here multiple times and were really satisfied each time!
