Good real traditional cusine. Well here is my 2 cents on food first. I was so surprise as to how good this food is. The chips and salsa was chilled and fresh. They have 2 types. one for all you wimpy folks, a modified catsup flavor. The 2nd for real Men. This salsas was smokey flavor with a slow burn, that kicks in at the end. It would be nice if they had a 3rd option middle of the road.I tried the crush ice Margarita. It was perfectly balance. At least for me.The main entree beef enchilada. Being from California for 30 years I have had my fill of mexican cuisine. Most of time they all taste the same. They did not not offer shredded beef but I got the ground beef. It was actually very flavorable and tasty. It was very unique in what I was use to. It was good…. They did not I offer and I forgot to ask for the traditional hot flour tortilla. It like bread. Always served with a meal. Over all one of the best traditional meal since coming to Florida.Chit Chat… The appearance was like you are in Mexico. Seating is inside or outside. Lots of TV.I was here at 11 AM. My server was Stephanie. She did a great job. Music in the background.I did think prices were high but its Florida. Not a lot of competition with other Mexican eatery.Over all very good I will be back.
Sad deal!. These people moved into an old, tired Cape Coral location. They spent a ton of money updating the place and I was excited to have a new Mexican reastraunt. I am sorry to say that after a few months and three visits that I will not go back. The food is average and overpriced, combined with absolutley terrible service warrents the bad review. Sorry I was hoping for better. This will be another empty, for sale property along Del Prado Blvd.
Moved to Cape Coral 4 months ago. Saw this restaurant and thought we would try it. We sat on the balcony over looking the canal. The food was awesome and the atmosphere was relaxing. The staff was attentive. The whole experience was delightful and fun. Will definitely come back.
Worst ever dining experience. Not only was the food poor quality poorly prepared but the margaritas tasted like tap water. Some kid was jumping up and down on the seat of a patrons boat. When they went to leave he would not get off the boat. I’m glad it was not my boat and you should make sure it is not your boat.Restaurant was loud with kids crawling on the floor around and under tables….very annoying. After dinner I found my vehicle scratched and damaged in the parking lot. Management was unresponsive. Phone calls were not returned. Apparently they do not care about their reputation.
Surprised. Wonderful staff, delicious, authentic Mexican food. Atmosphere is lovely, especially on the waterside deck. Go, you’ll be happy you did.08 Oct, 2014Supreme Chicken Taco Salad. Delicious. Service was fast for both of s!
DON’T GO. We have now been to Monarca’s twice. Both times the service was horrible and the food was just ok. Overpriced and just plain bad. From dirty silverware to slow service to the wrong food delivered. We will never go back…..
Cape Resident. We were so hoping for a good mexican restaurant. What a disappointment. The prices were high, which would be acceptable if the food was edible. Smallest $10.00 margarita I’ve every seen. I know I have had better food from a gas station microwave. Too bad they put so much money into redecorating, they should have used it on cooking lessons.
