Great place to eat!. We have been to the Moorings a few times now and every time its perfect. Had fish fry and wife had steak that was cooked perfect with the great service and crazy decor you wont be disappointed. Check it out everybody
Best Fish Fry I Have EVER eaten !!!!. OMG found the BEST place for fish and chips …..better than any other place I have been!!!! Coleslaw is fresh and homemade, the waitress Nicole was very friendly , informative, and very cute. Plenty to choose from fish, scallops, crab, calamari, gator, chicken, steak and a whole lot more !!! We opted for the fish fry that came with French fries and coleslaw and it was to die for !!!! Word of advice dont get the all you can eat unless you have a HUGE appetite. They also have a huge patio and are dog friendly…..which was nice since there are not any places that are. And you have to save room for the Irish Con-o-ly you will never forget it !!!! From the key west style atmosphere to the great waitress and owner this is the place to go !!!!
Wow! A hidden gem.. Quiet cozy and the most friendly staff around. Now to the best part. The food is absolutely delicious! We sat outside now that its cool out and loved it. Nice key west style atmosphere and the food is fabulous. Fish fry was to die for and the crab cakes are amazing! You gotta try it! Ask for Jerrad or Al two of the most friendly guys around.
Good food, service & eclectic decor. The food is really good. Al, the owner & long time acquaintance is very attentive & supplies us with free entertainment (Jokes & Stories). The multiple appetizers, along with dessert, & after dinner liqueur finished off the meal to perfection. We took some friends this time, & they enjoyed everything about the place. The dcor is eclectic beachy, which allows you to relax & have fun. Try it you’ll like it.
The New England Moorings is so delicious. Our family has been going here for three plus years and we love the bourbon shrimp! The owner is always so kind and funny and always greets us like family. The atmosphere is really fun with lights and paintings. If you like good food for a good price go to the moorings!
Don’t bother!. I wouldn’t waste my time at this place. The wait staff is nice, but not that bright and have no clue about their job. The food was not as advertised (vegetarian platter), extremely small portions, bland, undercooked (fish), over cooked (shrimp) and the fries were fried twice in a lazy attempt to serve old food. The tea is beyond weak and disgusting. The restaurant itself was hot, dark and dusty. I’ll never go back or recommend anyone else to go.
