  We have been shopping at Paesanos for many years and were generally quite pleased with the quality of the products and the level of service. Things seemed to have changed.On Saturday, June 9, 2018 we stopped in and found the store surprisingly empty at noon time. Very unusual for a Saturday. Upon approaching the deli counter I noticed there were no prices listed for any luncheon meats or cheese. The gentleman who eventually waited on us seemed perturbed that we were disturbing him by being a customer. Upon checking out, there were two young ladies at the front of the store who were more concerned with the cell phones than helping a customer who was waiting to check out.It is a shame that this store has lowered its standings to this level. What was once a pleasant shopping experience has now turned into an experience we will now avoid. We support Mom and Pop shops extensively, but seriously doubt we will go back to Paesanos.Maybe no one is watching the store!

  July 2017Paesano Italian Market, Lafayette St.,Cape Coral, Fl., Here is my 2 cents on the food and some chatter.The food. I got the weekly special of a italian sausage with onions/peppers. Along with fries. A carnivore delight with a touch of spiciness. On a toasted roll. Wonderful !!!CHITCHAT…BUT. the real delight for me is the other food that is prepared to go home.For those that do not know this is the only Italian market in the Cape. A butcher shop, deli and fresh produce and of course lots imports from Italy.I love the chicken cacciatore tasty plenty of chicken.I recently tried the lasagne . It was a two edged sword. Good size portion, lots of meat, lots of cheese.UNFORTUNATELY, not much flavor . It really needed more garlic onions and other italian ingredients. I just doctored it up at home.Service is very helpful. Prices are reasonable …specials are great.Paesano Italian Market & Deli, Lafayette St., Cape Coral, Fl., Growling in my tummy, 2 cents on the food and chit chat.The food and chatter. Special of the day fries & italian sausage with pepper and onions. I do not like most italian sausage. Too much fennel for me. AAHHH in this case 12 inches long and just the right amount. I had to wait a bit longer but in this case it was so tasty. Plus this meal was 8 bucks. Good for the tummy and bill holders. Fries was a bit different a touch spicy. Ah be warned, everything is paper or plastic. Its all disposable.Service was good. A bonus walk , 20 paces and inside a good Italian Market/deli.So those seeking groceries for home or a bit of a bite stop in.

  What a great place. I recently visited paesanos Italian market with a chef friend of mine to get a few things for dinner when I was smack dab in the middle of little Italy! There was a tremendous produce department with unbelievable quality and prices but as my friend told me the real highlight is the wonderful selection of high quality steaks in the butcher shop as well as a ton of cheeses and other imported goodies! Later on that night after eating that steak he bought I knew I would be going back to paesanos again and again and I recommend if you have never been there you go check it out!

  Pasaino’s – Cape Coral. Find the resturant and market to be truly Italian. It has all I need to cook a good Italian meal. I have lunch at the outdoor restaurant and the food is great! I travel 1 hr. to go there.
