February 2019Perk and Brew, Cape Coral Pkwy, Cape Coral, Fl., Here is my 2 cents on the food and chatter.I have been here before and got the delish Big meatball entree.This time I requested a extra sweet coffee and a bacon/onion quiche.The coffee…NO… not sweet at all. I had to add more ….which I was trying to avoid using those little packets.I was really disappointed in the quiche. Now it tasted ok, creamy Not firm crust was fine.First it was $9 bucks… then it was only 4 inches across (See Photograph with tape measure)Where was the bacon…Not even one third of a average size slice of bacon…A hint of some onions.I have been to other eateries where my entree was the same price & twice as big. Plus more bacon cheese & onion.They offer wi-fi and you can hang out for a while. March 2017 Perk and Brew, Cape Coral Parkway, Cape Coral, Fl., Here is my 2 cents on the food and some chit chat.Ahh the food. First the coffee anyway you like. Appetizer, Spanakopita, hot ,hand made with phyllo dough spinach & cheese. Crunchy and tasty so good….My roast beef sandwich. On a choice of bread,( I had ciabatta). Very fresh a bit chewy so good.. Roast beef medium rare a bit thick on the slices. I ran it thru the garden and condiments.(everything) Truly one of the better sandwiches I have had. Also a side of bag of chips.Chit Chat… This is a mom and pop type place. So you know it may be a bit more expensive. The service, quality and eh not so much the quantity. But it is definitely worth the trip.OH YES… You must try the BIG MEATBALL dish. It fills the stomach and the eyes. So GOOD… Do NOT pass on this item.Folks wonderful. Parking front and rear.Perk & Brew, Cape Coral Parkway, Cape Coral, Fl, A growling in my tummy and some chatter.Forgot I had some Group on tix. Went back to give a taste. MMM good the big meat ball in the bread bowl, Topped with cheese. Still worth chowing down…. Had a tasty sweet tea to wash it down.Glad to see a local place still up and running. Good place to meet for coffee or such. Keep up the excellent work.
