Food was good and a clean restaurant. The lobster roll at $18 was small. The bill for three was over $60. The fish tacos were very tasty and the Cole slaw was also good.

October 2017Twisted Lobster, Del Prado Blvd., Cape Coral, Fl., Here is my 2 cents on the meal and chatter.I got the AYCE crab special 25 bucks. Besides the crabs with melted butter, there was a knob of corn on the cob,( a bit over cooked) plus their seasoned fries.Over all the crab and such was very good. They did let you devour as much as you can.BUT I found out this about my self. I am a lazy old fart. I hate cracking the crab. (or peeling shelled shrimp) I want it cooked properly and just eat it without too much fuss or effort. Some folks like the adventurous of getting involved. When I go out I just want to be fed.Besides it dangerous and so messy with the crabs. The food was excellent as well as the service. 2017 MayTwisted Lobster, Del Prado Blvd., Cape Coral, Fl., Here is my 2 cents on the food, a rant & rave plus chatter. The food. Fish and chips for 5 bucks. OBA OBA. A great tasting meal and a wonderful price. 2 large pieces of fresh fish. With their take on french fries….. I splurged for their bowl of clam chowder.8 bucks…..clams shells and oh so good stuff. This was an excellent meal…Not on the menu…You must ask for it off FB..Rave… A meal for under 10 bucks including a beverageRant….More places should do this.Service was great. parking can be difficult. Here is my 2 cents on the food and some chit chat. I had the lunch special( $8.50 as of this writing) of a lobster roll. I have never had a lobster roll. It was offered in mayo or hot butter. I got the butter. Plus I chose the house made tater salad as my side. First I must warn you, if you have a BIG appetite this is not for you. I was given a hotdog style roll sliced in half with a couple of pieces of lobster on each( see pic). OK. I dipped my roll in the hot butter. HHmmm all I really tasted was the roll.. Also unfortunately the roll was a bit burnt. I separated the lobster from the roll and just dunk it in the butter with a bit of squeezed lemon. Now the lobster was outstanding fresh and tasty. BUT, the roll just defeated tasting the lobster and the portion barely filled my tummy.I had what I was told house made potato salad. It was fine BUT again for me it had WAY to much mustard for my taste buds. The staff, Kristin, my server ( how politically correct not waitress as it should be) did an outstanding job answering my questions and what not.Over all my experience was good except for the above mention issues.NOVEMBER 2016 Twisted Lobster, Del Prado Blvd., Cape Coral, FL., A grumbling in my tummy, 2 cents on the food and some chit chat. The food. I dived into the fish and chips. 9 bucks. Plus the lobster bisque. I also had their house made sweet tea. Tea was sweet enough. Very good. My side of coleslaw with bits of pine apple, which seems to be the rage now, Was a slightly salty, slightly sweet and none too over done with a mayo. Good stuff. Ahh the lobster bisque was creamy, smooth tasting with chunks of lobster and very filling. The chips or french fries were coated with a house secret of sorts. It was covered in nice extra tasting. The fish was crispy, cooked properly and a delight on my taste buds. A good version of the england fish & chips. But my personal like is the bigger steak size fries. This size is a bit hard to find.Service was outstanding. The owner came by and answer my questions. It is always a plus when the owner and/or the chef comes to you table for whatever the reason. Nice job!
