April 2019Victory Lane Cafe, Hancock Bridge Parkway,N. Ft. Myers, Here is my 2 cents on the food.It was delivered by bitesquad. Still hot and fresh.WOW… I was so suprized on this meal…BBQ beef brisket, on texas toast, with waffle fries, baked beans and cole slaw….11 bucksA nice toasted slice of bread. a creamy not overly sweet nor sour coleslaw, bake beans, ( I would like sweeter) waffle fries fried just right. Now the real kicker… It had the perfect for floridian smoky slightly sweet bbq sauce. I like Texas style sweeter and hot spicy sauce.Lo and behold the brisket was the best I have tasted since being here.It melted in my mouth. I barely needed to use a knife. It was moist, tasty with a not overly smoked flavor.I am not sure if it was in a smoker or oven it was dam* good. March 17, 2018Victory Lanes Cafe, Hancock Bridge Pkwy., N. Fort Myers, Fl. Here is some chatter and my 2 cents on the food.Chit chat. I have ate here 2-3 times & have been happy with what I got. This time I used Bite *quad for a delivery. Though it took longer than I expected, the food arrived hot.I got a chicken raceadilla and the beef brisket.I was impressed that the chicken item was tasty. They even added hot peppers as per my request. The side salsa was a commercial brand. But over all it was what I expected. Now my beef brisket. Advertised as bbq & smoked. WRONG…The best part of this entree was the small sliced of garlic bread. But that even had some sauce on it.The beef was not very, if any properly smoke or even saw a grill. It was on the tad dry side. Not much flavor. The sauce was a commercial brand, *raft or *einz. The beans tasted like heated cam of Va* De Camp pork & beans. I have had enuff in 30 odd years to know. Plus a small portion of fries which was the best tasting of the meal. Though soggy from the drive.Over all a mediocre experience on just the food.Victory Lane Cafe, Hancock Bridge Pkwy., N. Fort Myers, Fl., Here is my 2 cents on the food and chatter. The food. I was easily talked into having the Prime Rib Au Jus sandwich. 10.50 with coleslaw and choice of taters. I got crinkle potato.I have found it amazing , the a potato, shape of a pasta or thickness of a meat , can and will always taste different depending on the cut or shape from the same texture of food… Why is that?????The coleslaw was not enough. It was very creamy and sweet, chopped fine…so good.. I desired more. The bun for my sandwich was so fresh and tender it fell apart as I dip it into the au jus.. A bit salty but oh so much beefy in flavor.. What I could not so soak up in bread, I just place it on my lips and drank it down with a smile. The beef was sliced thin, some cheese and sauteed onions. A wonderful meal. This is a car guy hangout. Great food. Great service
Victory Lane Cafe is a locally owned and operated restaurant. Awesome American cuisine, friendly staff and environment. The menu listed on her is incorrect. Go to the website, Facebook page or look at the pictures below. BTW…. now serving breakfast Monday-Saturday at 7am
Victory Lane Cafe’s food and staff are excellent. I worked there for 11 years and still ate there on my days off. It’s one of those mom and pop, a little of the grid special places. Home cooked American food that brings a smile to your face every time. Try it once and you’ll be back.
