Woody’s, Surfside Blvd., Cape Coral, Fl., Here is my 2 cents on the food and chatter. The food. A philly cheesesteak sandwich & potatoes salad. The salad was flavorless and very dry. I expected more and got less. The sandwich was just mediocre . The only different was the bell peppers were chunks not strips. Not very big, really not worth coming here.Service was good. But if food is just so so why come here.
Are you ready to rumble , classless place and management. Too put it simple this is not your boater family friendly place. I will never expose my family to such a rough environment. If you go there get ready to duck beer bottles, extremely rough crowd and management that enables and wants to keep such patrons. You can not put this place in the same league as The Restaurant, Maker 72, And Rum Runners, I literally felt like my boat went into a time warp and landed in space with Aliens. The owner should higher better quality of management, that keep a boaters friendly dock and dine.
The worst. 4/14/13 went there on 2 boats today for a nice lunch , pulled up there was ome boat taking up three spots my son docked first (there is no dock hands or harbor master present) he proceeded to move the docks lines one piling so we would not have yo damage boats (most boaters are helpful and friendly) a wild woman comes running down screaming at us then screams at my wife then comes down with the manager who was a total moron and told us to leave. wow dock and dine has hit a new low . never go to that classless dump.
A couple of disappointments on prices. Their website happy hour prices are not correct for this location. Apparantly their website for this location is not up yet even though they opened last July. So we paid more for drinks. We ordered two burgers and a wrap. Our options included fries. When the check arrived there was an upcharge for fries and sweet potato fries. I don’t like being surprised by extra fees when we were not told. The waitress was friendly and the food was excellent. Just expect your bill to be higher than you expect.
Not bad. Same basic menu as the St James City location. Food is decent, the fish dip is great. The bar stools are uncomfortable, too far away from bar and no footrests. Big problem today was the $7.31 french fries. Are you kidding? What a ripoff.
Love it there!. Woody’s just opened about a month ago and currently has a limited menu. However, what they do have is outstanding! First, I like the atmosphere. It has the feel of a local hangout, with good food, a bar area, televisions at every table and on the walls, and wonderful service! My wife and I both had the special, which was a grilled snapper with veggies and a baked potato. The snapper was very good, and the veggies, while a bit bland, were good and the potato was good. Overall, I believe they have a nice place to visit, and hang out to watch sports and socialize with friends, and good food.
