Bar under. You need food at the bar… We have been there so many times and wanted a drink and light dinner and have gone home. You are missing out on a lot of dinners. We would come there so often if you had food after four!
Bad dinner. Looked forward to seafood dinner last evening – ordered shrimp and scallops over pasta – sounds good, right? Dish consisted of two good sized shrimp and two good sized scallops over watery pasta – no flavor – no sauce – friend and I both ordered the same – $22 per dish – we told waiter how bad it was – we were offered a dessert and that was mediocre as well –
Only had cocktails at the outside bar, but can’t wait to try dinner…met the owner, and he apologized for not being able to seat us til late…waitress at the bar was very helpful and pleasant…and poured a wonderful cocktail…great way to end my day
Terrible service. Went there for a relaxing lunch. Waited for seating at the bar. The bartender was friendly. Finally got our table and the nightmare started. Had to wait for eternity to place our order. Very rude waitress that must hate her job. Never brought our beverages as ordered. The food took almost an hour to be served. She Made excuses and blamed us for the order being wrong. The food was above average but we left with a bad after-taste in our mouths due to the terrible, horrible service. Will never return!!!
Beautiful view & great food. I had the she crab soup and crab salad wrap. Both were fresh and excellent. The staff was knowledgable and friendly. Great atmosphere and perfect location with a view of the Gulf. We will definitely make the trip from Trinity, FL to eat here again.
Food was excellent, view was excellent, but the service was TERRIBLE for Mom’s 70th birthday party, First clue was upon arrival when we were setting up, we asked if we could have something to put a few gifts on. The manager came back and put a big tray upside down on top of the legs that hold the tray and left. We had to ask for a table cloth to put on top of the tray so that it looked a little nicer and no residual food if any left on the tray would get on the presents. Mom’s 70th birthday party was rushed. The server never welcomed the table, introduced herself or advised of any dinner specials. She started lighting the candles on the cake while two people were still eating their dinner. We were not asked how we wanted the cake presented, or if we wanted to take pictures of it first. We had to ask for coffee and it did not come out until after everyone was eating the cake. We got the coffee a little at a time instead of the server taking a count of who wanted coffee and bringing it all out at the same time. We were never asked if we wanted a refill she never came back to the table to even say thank you for visiting the restaurant. The waitress seemed busy with other tables also, however coming from a 21 year background in an extremely busy restaurant, the service and attention to detail was EXTREMELY LACKING. I would suggest this restaurant for the view and the food was good, but NOT for a memorable occasion.
Great View. You’re definitely paying for the view. The food is good, service is good. Nice special occasion restaurant to take out-of-towners. Recommend Shrimp Cocktail, 4 or 5 huge perfectly chilled shrimp. Best ever. Lobster was good. Prime Rib was good.
