Food and atmosphere are great! When you see a grand piano, you know there is serious jazz on tap. We live in Pittsburgh and I’m a jazz singer. This place has both great music and food. I nice, moderately priced wine list as well. We were there this past Saturday and came in later in the evening. The music stopped at 10pm and we wish it would have lasted longer. Then I realized we were in Port Charlotte and not Miami!
Hidden Gem – Great Food and Entertainment!. JD’s Bistro is a hidden gem right in Port Charlotte. You may miss it when driving down US41 in Port Charlotte. Our second visit to the restaurant was even better than the first. The atmosphere is pleasant, the music was perfect for the setting and the food alone is worth the visit. Put all together and your night could not get better. Service was top notch. My steak was cooked to perfection. Wife wife’s seafood plate was out of this world. The live entertainment made for a great night. We did not want to leave at the conclusion of our meal and we didn’t! Lovely experience and we will be back!
