User reviews. Adjacent to beach with no view. all meals servrd with peas and creamed gravy, bland and institutional. but theres always location, location
Bar food with a twist. The Island Salad with fresh mozzarella and coconut chicken tenders was delicious. What I liked the most was that we were traveling and able to bring our two little dogs out onto the patio with us. The waitress brought them a bowl of water and a treat.
I’ve come here for years but as the prices go up the food and service is going down
Good atmosphere and service . The macadamia chicken is amazing !
Prices are up. I was there yesterday and noticed the new menu and the prices were raised.they said the prices were raised in Jan 2013. yet i know i was there in march or april.$13 for grouper and chips.
Lock ‘n Key Disappointing…. Very disappointed. Server mixed up dinner order (fried grouper instead of blackened). Was told I could smoke a cigar in the patio area while listening to the band, and waitress brought ashtray for me. Then after the band played, was told I couldn’t. Felt like hostesses acting like vultures just waiting for wife and I to leave to table could be allocated to other folks. This restaurant was VERY over-rated. Do not recommend….
It was Monday about 7 pm and the restaurant was filled. From what I had heard I was looking forward to dinner. We were seated within ten minutes as promised and ordered drinks. The drinks were very good but from there it was downhill. We ordered a seafood platter and stone crabs ( hot) and a salad. Twenty minutes later our waitress arrived with bread and salad. The bread was fresh but cold and the salad was good. Nine minutes after our salads arrived our dinner was served. The crabs were ice cold and we had to send them back. 10 minutes later they arrived without even an apology or explanation. By then I was most of the way through the seafood platter. This consisted of grouper, tuna and swordfish awash in a heavy white sauce. The swordfish and tuna were mushy and bland, and the sauce overpowering. Our waitress was overworked and was not able to provide decent service to us or from what I could see several other tables. I kind of felt sorry for her and left a decent tip but I will not be back.
