Excellent coffee.. They know their stuff about coffee here, and really care about their craft. It’s difficult to talk about how good Mercer’s is without coming off like a snob, but it is a pleasure to have coffee made by people who care about doing what they do, well. If you really want the extra large cappuccino, it will still be made with the correct proportions, and not have a quart of milk to fill the cup. As opposed to Starbucks, you can tell in the taste of the coffee that they didn’t just use a dark roast to cover up lesser quality beans: it IS in the flavor. Evidence: have a simple espresso, no pumpkin spice, no acrobats flying. Your tastebuds will explain the difference. It’s rich and wonderful even without all of the extras. (They do have more than just espresso and cappuccino.) People who think freeze-dried Folger’s is tasty coffee might not see the value, but it really is a great find in the area. From what I can see, it has no competition in terms of quality.

Whether you are in the mood for an Espresso, Latte, Cappucino, or just a fresh cup of coffee, there is something for everyone. They also freshly roast all of their coffee, which is availabe to purchase by the pound or smaller, featuring coffees from all over the word. There is outdoor seating as well as a cafe seating area.
