***UPDATED 10/28/2017***My husband and I came back for lunch to try their all you can eat blue crab and it was absolutely delicious! Our waitress was on top of our drink refills and putting in other orders for us. She also checked in periodically to make sure we were both doing okay during our meal which was appreciated. We had many plates of the garlic cluster blue crabs and they were totally worth the wait! So happy we were able to come back while this was going on. The price is very reasonable for the amount of food you get (all you can eat) and they allow you to take home whatever you dont finish. Also, had some of the key lime pie for dessert and it was the best key lime pie I have ever had! Definitely is a must try if you visit Peace River Seafood!!!!
Me and my sister go there all the time .It is a very Quaint place . I love the atmosphere and the help . We sit inside all the time . We normally go for the All you Can Eat Blue crabs . We use to live in CT and I caught Blue crabs all the time . Me and my sister learned how to eat Blue crabs and when we get done there is nothing left in the shells at all . The seagulls hate us . I have been eating Blue crabs for over 40 years and have never stuck myself with the shell . Well there was the first time last Friday . OUCH . I did not watch what I was doing . Be careful .If you do not want to clean them yourself . You can buy them all ready cleaned out of the shell . All you have to do is take the meat out of the body that has been cleaned . It is a lot easier .

Depending on the time of the year the crabs can either be full and heavy or light and paper shell.I am from Maryland and i know good steam crabs.At times they are very good.At times not so good.Like in Maryland its about timing.Crabs usually the best heavy and full between June and September.I have to admit though we are blessed to have all you can eat steamed crab place here in Punya Gorda.I enjoy them as often as i can.
