Place was better than reviews indicated. Yes brisket was fat. Not as much fat should be played. But it was tender. Rib and chicken were good. Cole slaw and potato salad were good. Was not dirty as some had indicated. Waitress was efficient and pleasant.
Horrible. Three times now I have gone to the drive through and ordered a sliced brisket sandwich. All three times when I got home and opened it up it was nothing but fat and with a small amount of meat that was too tough to eat. They used to be really good,I don’t know what happened. I was giving them the benefit of the doubt. No more,If you want subpar food this is the place for you.

A disappointment. We have eaten BBQ cooked by Myron Mixon, by the great BBQ restaurants in Memphis, Kansas City, North Carolina, and Austin, TX. We have eaten at a Sonny’s before but this one was a disappointment. The meat was underseasoned and undercooked. The restaurant floor was in need of a good scrubbing and cleaning. The wait staff needed to be more attentive. Will not return again.
Okay… It’s the only Barbeque in town. So what does that say.They do a good job atleast it consistant. My kids love the place and they have a drive thru which is great this time of year. I wil give it a 3 out of 5, I love Memphis style barbeque.
