Fun place…Betty was a blast as we played a joke on our friend. The Grouper Bites were very good along with the fries and let’s not forget the cold beer!
Definitely worth visiting. The cod dinner was great. Large portions. Great value for the money. Covered but completely outdoors so don’t bother on a cool night. Saw dolphins in the bay while dining. Great service.
Love love love it!!!!. I have been to Stump Pass Grille many of times and it never gets old!! The food and service is always awesome, and who can beat the view when your right on the water. I enjoy how clean they can keep an outside establishment and coming on the weekends when they have live music. This is a great place for familes as well. As for the dogs they do have to be on a leash.
Great, fun restaurant. I was at Stump Pass Grille on 10/23 and had a great meal, wonderful service, and spectacular view on top of that. I would recommend everyone try it.
BEWARE…!. Stump Pass Grille is NOT what it used to be. Just after being served my food, my meal was interrupted by 2 dogs. One Golden Retrever, on a leash. The other, was a pitbull puppy, that was allowed to run wild due to no leash. The puppy jumped and scratched my out of state guest. Immediately we requested the check. After bring the situation to their attention, they simply stated that it was up to the establishment to allow animals on premisis, which they do. Leash or no leash. At least I bought them cheap. It only cost me $65 to learn to never go back there again.
Best Gumbo!. Everytime I go down to Englewood, stump pass is a must. Whether its 40 degrees outside or 95 degrees, the gumbo is the first thing i order. Its hot and spicy and perfect. I live near Clearwater Beach with some pretty good seafood restaurants, and I think this place is amazing. The fish and chips are to die for. Everything I have ever had at this amazing restaurant has been delicious.
Ok….
