Beautiful Atmosphere and Great Food!. I was with my family a few weeks ago, they were down from up north and we all decided we wanted to see a dinner and a show and not have to travel to far. So we found a place that offers both, thank jesus, this town offers nothing, in a form of entertainment and dinner. It was a party of 4 and I believe our server’s name was NIcole or Nikki, she said to call her Nikki, but I was calling her Ka-Niki, I think she got a kick out of it. I had Shrimp Fett. and Nikki recommended it and it was fantastic, the sauce had so much flavor. My wife had the Twin Marsala steak, cooked perfectly I might add, wonderful. My two out of town family members had Ling Visani and the other had Filet….I believe. Both were wonderful. The steaks are mouthwatering as is the atmosphere. Shawna, I believe that was the bartenders name made some wonderful martinis and their bigger than your average martini. You definitly get what you pay for. The service was excellent, one word to describe our waitress, cute and bubbly. We did not have to wait long to be greeted, and informed of their specials for the night. Now this was our first time their and we will be back and I hope to get Nikki as our server again, for which I am 100% sure all of Visanis servers are excellent. As for the comedy, I give it a A+. Port Charlotte really needed a place like this……….. See you soon!!!!!!
Worst ever!!. Went to see Michael Winslow last night. Party of 14. $20.00 a person. Food was good. Warm-up guy was good. Winslow was simply awful!!!! No words to describe how bad the show was. Way too loud. (had to cover my ears) A man making strange, LOUD sounds for over an hour is not entertainment in my book. Choose your entertainment carefully. This guy sucked!! Spent over $100.00 and felt cheated!
Vasani’s on a Whim. I’ve been wanting to try this restaurant for a long time. My sister was in town and I wanted to treat her to some place nice. On the spur of the moment I decided to take my sister to Visani’s. We were not disappointed. I had a steak dinner and it was the best steak I have ever had in Port Charlotte; possibly the best steak Iever. My sister, who is very picky was extremely pleased with the appetizers and her meal. I want to get my dad there sometime so I do plan to go there again. I don’t know if they are consistent about service or the preparation of the meals but we hit them on a good night. I think it was a Wednesday eveing. We ate in the private dining room because we were not there to see a show.
Blah. I was all hyped up to go to this place. It was not worth the drive or the money spent.
Always a Great Tiime. I have been dining and entertaining at Visani’s for years. Top notch comics, gourmet cuisine, strong drinks and great service. Thanks for always exceeding my expectations. Love the chicken ala vodka and strong rumba jd cokes
Don’t judge a book by it’s cover!. We pulled in to this place and I thought about leaving. I have never been to an Italian restaurant that looked like a castle. We decided to stay, for dinner only, and really enjoyed it. The prices were right, the service was good, and the food was at least 4 out of 5 stars. We started with fried calamari, fried artichoke hearts and fried mozerella…all of which were very good. I had a chicken parm dish for dinner and my wife had a shrimp dish that was delicious! For dessert we had a traditional canoli and a chocolate & baileys canoli that was one of the best I ever had. I would definitely eat here again!
