My parents have a place down in Placida and we come down to visit about every other year. A trip to Zydeco is the most anticipated restraunt on the tour. My children (all 4 of them) love to order the crawfish, but quite frankly have been amazed with everything we have had. Special thanks to the staff for always accommodating us. Truely one of my most favorite places to dine.
Big Deal & Carmen. We have been to Zydeco’s on quite a few occasions, and have booked for New Years Eve, 2013. If Taylor reads this we will be there with our family (8 of us), We are really looking forward to that evening. The staff, food, and atmosphere are all absolutely fantastic. Stopped in here with my family a couple of days ago by chance when we were driving by and I’m so glad I did! It was amazing food!!! I had the gumbo to start and it was so fresh and amazing! Even better than what I had in Louisiana! Once I was done with that I had the crab cakes and it was good but the best part was this thing that I forget what they call it but it is essentially a brick of cheese gritts that is crusted on the sides! Amazing!!!! I love the whole place! The only negative was that the food came a little slow, but it that was what it took to get the amazing food I had I’m okay with that!
Awesome Restaurant!. Don’t miss this place if you are in the Englewood area – fantastic cuisine. We were so glad we found them near the end of a week vacation and eating at several mediocre restaurants in the area. Great service, food, atmosphere – how lucky to fine an amazing take on Cajun cuisine (and more) in this area. It was a refreshing and worthwhile discovery.
Late friday night. We came in after a late evening of fishing and we looked and smelled like we were fishing all day! we went to the faull inn for pizza, 9:00, they turned us away, said they were closing, shutting down the oven as we speak, so we went across the street to angelo’s pizza, same thing! so we went next door to zydeco grille. WOW! what a pleasant surprise. they took us right in! we ate and drank like kings and queens! we were served like we were royalty! the food and the service was outstanding! we spent a boatload of money, now i’m glad rick shea’s pizza joint and angelo’s pizza were closed!!! bah!! zydeco… we shall return!!!
REAL EASY….. If the reader would have noticed on Restaurant.com the coupon for Zydeco was taken OFF some months back. And can easily get a refund for it. I haven’t seen a coupon for this Restaurant on Restaurant.com for a long time. Her coupon must have been OLD. Don’t need a coupon. Place is the best around for food and drinks. Places that take coupons need your business. Zydeco doesn’t. It speaks for itself. OUTSTANDING FOOD.And try the Mojtos….BEST AROUND ANYWHERE!!!
Food was great, I had a great meal with just enough heat Service was excellent, at least three of the staff checking on our needs, decor well suited. They had great selection of beers brewed in New Orlens
