Bad Beat?.. Dear Garfield, It has been my experience that it is not wise to run a tab, unless you are at a normal type restaurant. Armantes is basically a bar that serves food, it’s very loud in there and problems like this can arise. The only thing louder is Cash, put some in your pocket next time, pay as you go and you’ll have less problems. I had a great time that night, sorry you didn’t.
Bad waitress. We went to Armantes this past weekend to watch the band,. For the most part it was a great evening. The Boogie Bro’s band was fantastic! The probel cam at the end of the night when we asked for our bill. The waitress brought the bill out for one amount. We put $40 cash in alomg with a debit card, She took the cash back and brought the bill back with a higher amount than the first time. WE said where is our original bill? She said, oh there were 2 buckets that were not paid for by the other party at your table so I added it to your bill. ????? Is it legal to change the bill once it is brought out and you send cash and a card back to close it out? I have called several times to talk ti the manager who never seems to be there when I call. Finally I was able to reach him and he said he will look into it! I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN! THE WAITRESS STOLE OUR $40 cash and CHANGED OUR BILL!
