Food is good but the help is rude.. Twice recently I have ordered take out from this restaurant. Twice the food was good and the place was clean. However, twice the same lady behind the counter was just rude. Once I can understand that anyone can be having a bad day but not twice. I’ll find another place next time I want Chinese.
Rude is right. After reading the reviews I still tried the food because I would be in the area at lunch time. She was so nasty, is this a new person. I’ve ordered in the past and had good food and service from a young girl. This woman was older.
An absolute horror story, the rudest woman in the world, dirty, incomplete bathroom, less than mediocre food !!1. Rude doesn’t amply describe the woman at the counter. I thought we had already met the rudest, most non-customer service oriented woman in the world in a Chinese restaraunt in Mexico Beach, FL – but no I was wrong. This woman is flat out in the wrong business. She would be perfect for a business where there is no human contact. And the food…well at least we didn’t get sick. I ordered Honey Chicken and white rice – got something completely different. She didn’t care. If you are starving and your car breaks down in this Publix shopping center, you don’t have AAA and you decide you’ve got to eat…well…go into Publix and get something from the deli – you’ll be far happier.
I ordered some food here and did not receive my full order I call to complain and Lady blamed on my son but she charged me for the full order and refuse to give me my money back for the food that I did not receive this place has poor customer service but if you must eat here I suggest you get your food first before you pay because most likely you won’t get all your food and they will refuse to give you your money back
Excellent Chinese Take-out/Eat-in. Chan’s is one of the many Chinese take-outs in Citrus County but ranks among the best. The food is consistanly very good with a big selection on the menu. They will adjust the heat or spice to your liking on requst. There is a dining room but it is NOT fancy at all. Bare bones tables but then again Chan’s was not originally designed for eat-in. Momma is usually behind the counter and now that the kids are grown, they help out too. If you don’t feel like getting dressed to eat out and waited on by a grumpy server, Chan’s is the place for good ol’ Americanized Chinese food. Been going there since they opened 14? years ago.
