Unbelievably awful service. I went in this weekend around 9, and it wasn’t terribly busy. No line, only about 5 tables were sat, yet my to go order took 15+ min. I feel bad for the people who dined in, because their food (at least 10 orders) sat at the front counter for ages before it was served. I’m almost positive the lady who took my order was on some sort of drug by the way she was acting (shifty, rude, wouldn’t make eye contact, slurred speech). Nothing in the kitchen looked up to code (i.e. knives and cutting boards being mishandled). The food itself was a disappointment as well – the lady forgot the coffee with my cold bagel sandwich, then expected me to pay ANOTHER two dollars for it. I just walked out, because that place gave me anxiety. Cheap prices, but you definitely get what you pay for. I will not be returning.
Waitress needs to be honest. Last week, we went to Bagels Unlimited about 9am after the rush. Not too many people in the restaurant. Waitress took our order. After some time I asked about our order. It’s coming right up she said. OK. Finally she brought our English muffins that were part of the order. THEN BELIEVE IT OR NOT, THE OWNER ARRIVES WITH A BAG OF GROCERIES AND WE START TO HEAR BANGING AND CLANGING IN THE KITCHEN. He, the cook, wasn’t even there! We finally got served our hastily prepared food to eat with our cold English muffins. A little honesty goes a long way. When we sat down to order, why didn’t she say it may take a little while or maybe offer us a free coffee. I lefty totally disgusted with her and the way the owner handled this incident. Everybody has problems, but honesty and integrity go a long way with us. I may never go back because of his disrespect for my time, and the cold English muffins that we had to eat because she was trying to hide the fact that our order hadn’t even been started yet. Bad, bad, bad on all fronts.
