Love this place!. We ate at Big Lou’s our first night in Gainesville 4 years ago and we’ve gone back over and over. They are consistent and kid-friendly but most importantly delicious! We usually get the Mediterranean specialty pizza but we also love pizza with meatballs. I LOVE the crust. My husband is a huge fan of the calzones – great for cheese lovers. The salads are basic but good. Lots of our friends love the garlic rolls. Great bargain. What are you waiting for? Try Big Lou’s today!
Good pizza. The rolls aren’t great but the pizza was. Their salads are good and the house balsamic is very good.
Just went there today and was excite to eat. To my disappointment the garlic knots did not have fresh garlic and was kind of bland. The pizza for me was a bit cheesy. I like my pizza rather a bit burned on the top so that when I take a bite out of the pizza a whole piece of cheese does not come right off. The dough was okay also. I prefer Leonardo’s, Italian gator and satchel over this any day.

What a great combination! Nice beer choices, huge slices of pizza with delicious fresh toppings. Yum!
It’s Quite Good. I DO love the pizza, garlic rolls and especially, the greek salad. Not too greasy, but greasy enough. The beer is good too. Once, though, the waitress neglected to tell me the daily special, which would have saved me $10 and gotten me a bigger pizza. I hope she just forgot. Other than that, I really love this pizza place and the people are always nice.
