So disappointing. Honestly, I created an account just to write this review. If I had to guess, I’d say whoever made my food was cooking for the first time in their life. Poor quality meat, tons of wilted, old lettuce. I wouldn’t even give it a second chance.
This place has, hands down, the best fish tacos I’ve ever had.
Go!. Since trying the fried Mac and Cheese my first time, coming to Boca Fiesta has become a tradition and obligation when visiting Gainesville. Their food is simply really really good! Still a bit too expensive, but the service has improved. Must Haves: – Burger with chipotle sauce- Fried Mac and Cheese
TVP Nachos. Haven’t gotten much food here, just the tvp nachos and those are great! Huge portion and perfectly seasoned, but my favorite are the pickled red onions on top (which are homemade). It seems a little pricey for me though I am pretty cheap. The owner seems pretty nice too.
Best in Gainesville !! Gator tacos rule! Super cool feel inside too. . Definitely recommend !!!!!!
Awful. Horrible waitress. Didn’t inform us that they don’t split checks/only accept 4 cards per bill. Were college students we don’t carry cash. Don’t come here with big parties and the infused margaritas were bitter and an extra dollar.
How Awful!. This place is always busy, but I think that the regular patrons are there to drink or are deeply mislead about what Mexican-style food should taste like. Nothing can make up for canned tomato salsa. A Mexican-style place should make salsa fresh, but I swear they pour tomatos out of a can, then dump some cilantro on it. It is terrible! The steak is unchew-able. I think the beer is priced fine and such, but the food is just so awful that I cannot spend money here. I wish it was better because the location is very good, but my god, everything I have had has been completely horrible. I have been there many times because people like to meet up there after/before drinks, and each time it is shockingly bad. Service tends to be slow and unorganized. No one is clear on how to serve tables. No no no!
