Not all subs equal. New York Steamer sub is by far the best; a mound of soft, juicy, flavorful pastrami and corned beef brisket.Smokehouse Beef and Cheddar is tasty but sauces may be a little overpowering.Meatball Sub is less than par; sauce had a tomato paste ‘metallic’ taste.

Firehouse is the best sub shop in Gainesville. They load their subs down with a LOT of steamed meat which leads to a delicious and hot sub. Other shops don’t even cone close to Firehouse.
So good.. Their hot subs are wonderful : )
