The best Cuban sandwiches ever! I just went to Gainesville for my 1st time and went to this place around 1am, and it was awesome. Pastries are awesome as well. Glad I ran across this place!!

Tastes even better at 2am. Enough good things can’t be said about this place. The sandwiches are wonderful (I like the Media Noche) and the cash only burritos they sell in the back are even better (especially with the avocado garlic sauce.) This place gets better after dark! They are open really late and right across the street from many downtown bars. Best drunk food in Gainesville by far but good if you’re sober too! Love the guava pastries! Keep it up Flaco’s!I love it!

Good food, awful service. The food is good at the place across from UF, but the service is a joke – a bad joke. The store is manned by unsupervised part-timers whose job there seems to be a low priority. We had not just a single problem with a simple order, but a series of problems including inability to process a credit card, failure to make the proper change, but that’s not all. We called in an order, showed up 30 minutes later to a store empty of customers and he had not even started on the order.

Cheap and Tasty. Food was very good and we sat in the back area where it was cool- the front room was sweltering in the mid-Spring. Sandwiches were what really shone- I was disappointed in my Empanada. Looks to be a pretty quirky place and as though it would be a lot of fun at night.

They do Cuban right!. This is how lentils are supposed to be made and their cuban sandwiches are to die for! Def a great place to eat on a Saturday night when all the clubs are closing up!

Best Cuban Sandwiches!. I never really cared for cuban sandwiches til I tried Flacos, Jaunchos , sweet bread, and turkey, and the Jill which has Jam, turky and cream cheese, both are awesome I also enjoy their Guava and cream cheese pastry! Best place to go if your downtown on the weekend looking for something quick!
