Mediocrity in a lively atmosphere. Ever heard of Emmental, or even Swiss Cheese, chef? Try it in your French Onion soup instead of that nasty gnarl of cold mozzarella! And how about carmelized onions and a decent soup stock, too?
Good flank steak. Various appetizers. Not an average red onion. They have their own menu and alot of fresh local products and produce. Great drink menu and various local beers to choose from
The Red Onion is a kept secret. Usually only locals know of the place and keep it hidden from the large college population. You actually have to enter a large apartment complex in order to get to it. The burgers are very good and so is all their appetizers. The dessert is good but it is not made in house. Lovely place to go to escape from the college scene watering holes.
