My husband and I ate lunch here this week. We both had a meatball sub and I had a Mother’s Ginger Sparkling water, he had a beer . First the good stuff: The restaurant is large, bright and clean. We had no trouble parking or finding a seat. The wait staff was friendly. The meatballs were very good. BUT: Our lunch cost $38. It wasn’t worth that. The bread was fresh, but very dense. My side of potato salad was, to be kind, weird. It was dry, had no salt and too many raw herbs. My husband’s side of chips were those cheap kind you get in grade school.Many ingredients are locally sourced and grown on site. The bread is baked there, too. That is maybe why they charge so much, but locally sourced or not, we paid $40 for a just okay lunch. If you have dietary restrictions (GF, vegan) this might be for you. But be ready to pay.
