The ambiance of the restarant is warm, cozy and inviting. The dining room is small but not crowded. It was clean and bright.The service was very friendly and efficient. Our questions about the menu were answered and the server made suggestions and helped us decide.My friend and I both got the smothered pork chop. It was big, juicy and full of flavor. I had the mashed potatoes with gravy and black eyed peas as sides. The mashed potatoes were delicious and covered in the same gravy as the pork chops. The black eyed peas were sweet (?) which was a little strange. The sweet tea was SO sweet it was like drinking syrup. My friend had the pickled greens, which were YUMMY!We didn’t order any, but they have beer and wine available. They also have many vegetarian options.Will be going back to try other items.

The scrambled eggs was a dry omllette ,grits had a weird powdery after taste ,his bacon was so crispy and dry,The classic ,also awful sausage hard dry, my breakfast was the worst..Smoked sausage,cornbeef enchilada, it was more like mystery meat,super greasy and had lots of bbq sauce wrapped in a flour tortilla. When I told the waitress. She stated that we should return at lunch time when Their food is at their best.. So why are they selling breakfast?? Our ticket was $45 .I will never recommend this place or return.
Charles and Lori Schiele. We loved the food and the atmosphere at Souther Charm Kitchen! We had the spicy waffle with barbeque and the fried chicken dish with greens adn black-eyed peas. Both dishes were delicious! Great service, very friendly. We will definitely be back and highly recommend!
Chicken Gravy Was Way Way Too Salty. Fried chicken was tasty , but the gravy was much too salty.
Fabulous!. The sweet potato hush puppies, Mac & cheese, fried chicken, coconut cake – it was heaven. Mac and cheese was the best ever and the cake so moist and fresh u could tell it was all made from scratch!
The chicken breast with smoked salt and caramel was AMAZING! My gf loves the smothered catfish. Entrees come with 2 large portions of sides. I had the mashed potatoes with really good gravy and the Mac and cheese was creamy and tasty. Definitely coming back here.
Don’t bring your morning coffee here to finish – we walked up for brunch and had cups with us and they wouldn’t serve us! The restaurant was empty and we were ready to order more coffee and food. They said we had to hang outside and finish it before we could sit. Super weird, made us feel bad so we left. I understand the no outside drink policy but not for coffee in the morning. You think they’d encourage reusing cups.
