3/5. My friend and I decided to try out the Coop based on a friend’s recommendation. Overall the food was alright, but probably a bit overpriced for fast food, especially considering that the combo doesn’t include a drink (25 bucks for two people.) Parmesan garlic wings weren’t bad, the sauce was yummy, but the chicken itself was a bit on the dry side and the sauce didn’t stick well to the wings. The fried chicken strips were better and reminded me a bit of the ones from TGI Friday’s, which I love. The coop sauce is great, kinda of like the pink mayo-ketchup they put on Colombian hot dogs. Texas toast is great, but they had run out of cole slaw and so we each got two slices instead. We weren’t allowed to switch the second Texas toast out for anything else. The fries were regular crinkle cut fries and I tried the mac n’ cheese which is $1.50 extra. It tasted like baked mac n’cheese with a lot of cheese piled on top, not bad.
