Everything was great.. Wait staff A+. Food freshness, presentation and flavor A+.Contemporary Shushi set in a hip atmosphere. Go! The food is great.
5 strikes. Given them 5 chances b and they mess up the order or simply bad/low quality. Not appetizing at all.

Amazingly good!! My friend and I go out for sushi twice a month, and we have been to quite a few different restaurants in and around the Jacksonville area. We decided to try Akaya, and it was, in my opinion, the BEST sushi I had EVER eaten. It was so good, in fact, that I have been craving it almost constantly. I will definitely be going back to enjoy the Yummy and Jaguar rolls….TO DIE FOR!!!
Terrible experience!!!. I tried to use my http://Restaurant.com discount coupon on my iPhone. It was $15 off a min meal of $22.50. Then then added a 18% tip on my check! I asked what this was all about since my party was only 3 people with different checks, he claimed it was something they have to charge because I was using a http://Restaurant.com coupon. This is so wrong with them not honoring my discount with http://Restaurant.com I will no longer go back!!! When I told the staff we will not be back due this they acted as they didn’t care! SIMMON was our waiter and he is terrible too!
Great service, best sushi ive had on the westside….well all of Jacksonville actually, the sashimi salad appetizer is a must a+
