Went back again. After a mishap that they corrected with a smile, it was another tasty and fresh seafood meal. Great scallops.18 Aug, 2013Finally. Took my mother out for lunch here last week on a Monday around 3:00. That’s not always the best time to go out, but…IT WAS FANTASTIC!The service was superb; our server (the only one omn at the time) handled 6 tables at one time and everything was timely. The portions were excellent and worth the fair price. Scallops and shrimp tasted fresh and were fried perfectly. The mahi mahi I ordered blackened was seasoned well and cooked just right. FINALLY! A place that offers seafood and actually knows how to do it right. We’ll be back and I can’t wait to take my wife, she loves scallops.
Love the food and service, Matt S. Was our server and he was awesome! The babyback ribs fall off the bone.
It’s a great place for lunch. The portions are plentiful. The service is excellent, friendly and courteous
Not Worth It. I’ve been to Corky Bell’s twice and have been disappointed both times. The clams are frozen, and I’ve literally had better Mrs Paul’s/Gorton’s. The fries are pretty run-of-the-mill grocery store variety as well.I got the shrimp on my second visit during lunch hours and the amount I received was more of an appetizer than an actual meal. The taste was OK, but I was nowhere near satisfied. The baked potato was obviously from the night before as I was there at opening, but received a leftover. The cheese grits is good and the service is friendly, but it’s just not worth the money. I’d sincerely prefer Captain D’s.
Enjoyed lunch at the Fleming Island location! Fried Shrimp were excellent, and grilled grouper was very tasty.Service was good and good value for what you get!
