Not a very good establishment for people on vacation (maybe the locals love it). If you are accustom to a good Gyro I wouldn’t recommend this place. The restaurant didn’t have the Lamb with Pita that I wanted so I decided on the Gyro with fries but the waitress said they only had a beef & lamb option and not just lamb (didn’t understand that but I went with it). The texture of the meat was suitable but the flavor was lacking what I’m accustomed to from other Mediterranean places. Go at your own risk.
We were looking for something close and not fast food, the Greek Village provided both. I have been to Greece several times and their food reminded me of sitting in a beach side cafe on the Mediterranean. Service was friendly, food arrived quickly. It was delicious and very generous portion. Interior of the restaurant is very basic but that is not the reason for coming here. We will be returning for sure and soon.
