Awful….food!! Do not try!! We came here on a night away from the kiddos and we got calamari appetizer. It was chewy and over cooked. The meals we ordered were even worse! I got the grouper with a chipotle butter there was no butter. Fish was bland. My husband got the spicy island jambalaya. Way too spicy, and mushy. No distinguishing flavor between shrimp, scallops, etc. all ran together. Server was unfriendly and unattentive. $70s later – unhappy!!!

Not awesome.. It’s just okay overall. The restaurant is very nice inside, and the service is good. The food is just not very flavorful, and kinda dry. The mojitos are bad – way too syrupy sweet. We tried the cucumber, and pineapple both were not good. For $9.50 a drink they should be better.
Great atmosphere, good food. Had the conch fritters (they were pretty bland). Husband had the ribs- good flavor and quality- lots of meat for the money. Cole slaw was some of the best we have ever had. I had the blackened mahi- fish was cooked perfectly. Potatoes were a little undercooked to my liking.Overall- good service and enjoyed our meal and the atmosphere… good little local gem that everyone in Fleming Island, Green Cove, and Orange Park should try at least once.
Awesome decor. We sat in cabana and loved the live plants with little fountain. Excellent ambience. Conch fritters were good starters. Ahi tuna dinner and tilapia wrap were flavorful ! I mean REALLY tasty. Service was fine, no complaints here.
A family favorite! We love the atmosphere and the fresh prep foods. The close to home location makes this family owned hot spot a local favorite.
Island Life Request for Feedback. Nice atmosphere. Close to home but most of the food is very bland. Portions are small. Service is inconsistant. Edamame poke is very good though. Would love for you guys to be successful but please get a new chef that knows how to season food. Add more to your appetizer menu and offer discounts on Fridays to compete with Whitey’s. My friends spend alot around the Island, we would like to have a reason to chose Island Life more frequently! Glad to see you want feedback, hopefully you listen to it this time!
