Great experience! The humble exterior of the restaurant could easily fool you. When you walk inside, you are met with an eclectic Italian vibe. You seat yourself at a real kitchen table (not restaurant cookie cutter tables). The staff is fast and efficient, and very friendly–they’re glad you’re there! On the weekend, make sure you’re there before 6. This place gets busy (we now know why)! The garlic knots … well, I could live off of them. Entrees are served with the perfect size salad with a generous sprinkling of green and black olives. We enjoyed the shrimp scampi (in a delicate garlic butter sauce) and the spinach ravioli in a rose sauce. We did not have leftovers. This place is a hidden gem–definitely a repeat!
Love This Place. As I told Luca at our first meeting, Italian is never my first pick when eating out, but a co-worker said this was a great mom-and-pop place, so my husband and I went for lunch. The Manicotti was so delicious and their garlic knots were scrumptious! The place is cozy and simple, and the staff is friendly, and the owner himself walks out and greets his guests. Delightful place. Great prices. Good portions. You won’t go wrong!
Disappointing. My husband and I had been there twice. The pizza and steak sub were good. I decided to try something new, chicken parmigiana. What a mistake. The chicken was not prepared correctly, the sauce was watery, and the plate was 90% pasta. For the money extremely over priced. I had asked if I could get a lunch size portion at dinner time as I am a diabetic. There is no wanting to work with the customer, I was told no. We spent $57 last week on the pizza and subs. Had the owner taken the meal off our bill, I would have ordered a steak sub like my husband and been perfectly ok with that. Unfortunately, the owner was insulted that I didn’t like the food and didn’t eat it. Therefore, my husband was charged $20.97 for a steak sub and 2 sodas. He tipped the waitress $4.00 as she was very good and had more common sense than the owner possessed. She offered a 30% discount and a buy one get one free coupon. She also offered to pack this meal which I couldn’t eat to take it home. Why she thought I’d eat a meal at home that I wouldn’t eat there makes no sense? Because she chose to bite her own nose to spite her face she lost us as customers. If she’d done what I suggested we might have come back and enjoyed other items. Instead she lost good customers for no good reason other than her feelings got hurt because I didn’t care for that dish. To sum it all up, we paid for a meal I was unable to eat!
