Horrible. The pizza was over a half hour late (so we waited for almost two hours), no one answered the phone when we called to see where our pizza was, and once it FINALLY arrived, it was burned, hard, and cold. WORST PIZZA EVER.
Stuffed crust was great. Not like a normal stuffed crust pizza but where the pizza is baked inside crust and on top. Small little place but their white pizza was great and the employees were super nice and friendly. Would definitely recommend to anyone who might need a break from the yummy but constant seafood on a week long beach trip. Was true to size (as listed per serving) and fairly priced.
There’s been a change…. We’ve been coming to Clearwater Beach a couple of times per year, and have always loved Angelo’s. However, this past March the pizza didn’t seem as tasty as before. And we’re here this week and tried it again, but it still wasn’t the same.Today while talking to our landlord, we found out that Angelo’s nephew has been running the place the last few years and Angelo came back this past winter. We like the nephew’s pizza better.
Ordered thin crust with tomato & basil, but basil was only on 1/3 of pizza. My expectations were very high b/c my friend who recommended Angelos raved about it so much! It was ok, & price is great for a touristy area ($11 incl. tax for med 2 topping), & had a great selection of toppings.
We have been pretty disappointednwith the food options and quality here in Clearwater but Angelos was actually pretty darn good for the price. We are at the Hyatt and they delivered to the lobby. We got the thin crust and contrary to the other reviews we liked it and the sauce. We also got the house salad which was nice as well for the price. This is one of few restaurants I would recommend in Clearwater.

Good pizza and reasonably priced. Not New York style if that’s what you’re looking for. NOTE! This place is strictly carryout or delivery. There is no where to sit so you can not dine-in.
