Bad Pizza. I tried the pizza today…..Very disappointing….The cheeze was burned and the crust wasn’t cooked thru. The flavor was bland exept for the burnt cheeze…I left the other 1/2 of the pizza there.Very disappointing
The wings and salad were great. The pizza which is why we went, wasn’t. The pizza was more like cheese bread in that there was hardly any sauce what’s so ever. I have never seen pepperoni so small. Don’t get me wrong it wasn’t horrible but I would rather have a DiGiorno pizza out of the freezer. The burgers they were serving looked awesome. I would agree with some of the other reviews in that this would be a nice place to watch a game and grab some cold and hot wings.
Gotta try it. I heard a lot about this sports joint….all good. Service was terrfic and our server did not steer us wrong on our pizza choice. We had the appetizer, pizza and pitcher of soda for $19.99…great deal and very tasty. Atmosphere is great too. Kid friendly w/ TV’s galore to watch sports. I noticed everyone in this restaurant was smiling and enjoying their meals. Definitely try this place for good food and great prices!
Good sports restaurant. The restaurant is sports theme and clean inside, with many T.V.’s. They have a bar side and a dining side. The staff was friendly and the lunch prices are very reasonable.Everything we had was tasty. I had a calzone with onion and tomato and it was very good, though a little on the small side, but filling nonetheless. The tomato sauce served with the calzone is flavorful. The Buffalo Chicken sandwich was good (I recommend you ask them to toss the chicken in the sauce). The seasoned fries are nice and crispy. The soup/salad/pasta lunch deal was great with Italian Wedding soup, side salad, and a bowl of pasta Alfredo.Don’t let the strip mall exterior steer you away. Definitely recommend this place for a lunch outing.
Yayayayay. This is my favorite place in thw world. Good service, and great food! The theme is very sporty…great for familes!
Seriously underrated. The phenomenal food is paired with friendly – if sometimes spotty since they hire local HS sport kids – service and a family atmosphere. Pizza is the star but the pasta is wonderful. Don’t miss the wings. Price is reasonable and it’s very much a locals joint. Try it, you’ll be hooked. 4.5 of 5.21 Jan, 2012What’s Not to Love?. OMG – a Clearwater place that doesn’t cater and kowtow to tourists, and has drop-dead (perhaps literally) food. This cholester-fest throw-back of a sports-bar-cum-Italian-palace gem has some of the best red-sauce food than you’ll see in the South. Yeah, there are better places in NYC, Chicago and Philly, but I can’t fly there for lunch. It can be hit-or-miss, but overall it is simply our go-to place for simple, classic, yum-yum-yummy food. PS: Try the wings. They should be illegal. The All-Star Combo with White Sauce — ravioli, manicotti and spaghetti in a luscious alfredo, baked with cheese — may be the best (and possibly last) meal you’ll ever eat.
CLASSIC CLEARWATER HANGOUT. How can you not love this place? Family owned and operated as long as its been in existence. The entire staff and Al and Chris will make you feel like part of the family. In 30 years, I have never had a bad meal/experience here. Great for any occasion.
